Meet Teacher Lazar

I am actually a medical doctor by profession, but I chose to follow my heart and become an English teacher — something I had been doing to support myself while going through medical school. I first started teaching on Palfish, where I was one of the top teachers for quite some time. I taught nearly a thousand hours there, had tens if not hundreds of students, and maintained an almost perfect 9.99 rating.

Later, I joined a more structured company where I taught not only kids’ classes but also STEAM and demo classes. I was entrusted with responsibilities like building courses, and over time I taught well over 5,000 classes. This shows how professionally I approach my work.

However, I always felt there were things that could be improved — materials were not fully personalized, students were often misplaced at the wrong level, and there was little space for expansion.
I believed I could do things better if I started my own private coaching business, which is why I am here today.
I have over seven years of teaching experience, specializing in Chinese learners, with a focus on communication, confidence, and pronunciation.

Not Just a Teacher!

I am not just a teacher but also an accountability partner — I provide daily guidance, help students build habits, and support them even outside class with tips and practice activities.

More About Me

I enjoy tennis and table tennis, I follow soccer and basketball, and I love reading.
Traveling is another passion of mine. I also enjoy exploring cultures and trying new cuisines, which helps me connect better with students from different backgrounds.
